As usual theres an MC to introduce and compere the whole shinannigins, Tony Tinman will be doing the honours, Tony (any more bitter and hed be a lemon) is creating a massive buzz with both promoters and a mass of following fans. With a diploma in acrimonious cynicism no topic is safe from his savage condemnation “oo-er, are we scared?....”
First up he’ll be introducing ED GAMBLE as the main opening act. I haven’t seen Ed myself (well I’ve seen his photie, quite cute…) apparently hes Very Funny. Very Lovable. Face like a babe (says someone else - not shelley) hmm… will we wanna do a jelly baby on him?? Come along and find out!
After the usual open mic slot for newcomers trying out their material – aww come on now, be NICE!! – we have a very spesh dude indeedy, a scottish comedian by the name of ALAN FRANCIS. Alan first came to prominence when he won the Ch 4 competition “So You Think Your Funny Awards” in 1991. Since then his reputation as writer, stand up and actor – dahling – has rocketed.
